Do you have a special skill set and a desire to get more involved? We are seeking volunteers to help plan and execute our wonderful programs, activities, and events. Whether you have the flexibility to be present at school during the day or not, there's a committee for everyone! 

 

Your involvement makes our school community stronger and creates wonderful experiences for the students. Every volunteer contribution, big or small, helps make Blue Lake Elementary an amazing place to learn and grow.

Audit Committee

 

Plays a vital role in ensuring the financial integrity of our PTA. 

 

Awards 

Help our PTA maintain our award-winning status with award submissions. 

 

Boys Event 

Plan a special event of fun and connection dedicated to our boys and their grown-ups.

 

Carnival 

Plans and executes every aspect of our annual Carnival after-school event, including coordinating with vendors to secure games and rides, activity stations, community partners stations, and food trucks.

 

Coin Wars 

Collaborate to choose a theme for the weeklong event, coordinate decor and volunteer needs, help manage daily student participation, and assist with the sorting/depositing of funds collected.

 

Community Partners 

This vital role helps secure financial and in-kind support that enriches our school programs throughout the year. 

 

Copy Club

Provides essential support to our teachers by handling their copying needs on campus every Wednesday and Friday throughout the school year. 

 

Communications/Social Media 

Manages our school's communication channels, focusing on our online presence through social media platforms, website updates to keep the school community informed about school events, news, and important information.

 

Event Decor 

Responsible for conceptualizing and executing decor needs for key events.

 

Fall Festival

Organizes an unforgettable day of outdoor fun and games for all students! 

 

Fifth Grade Celebration 

Plans and coordinates the end-of-year Fifth Grade Dance, from selecting the theme and decorations to organizing refreshments, music, etc.

 

Gator Gear 

Manages our school spirit wear program throughout the year.

 

Gator Store

Handles all aspects of running the store: selecting and ordering merchandise, maintaining inventory in the PTA closet, and organizing the monthly Gator Store events.

 

Grandparents Club

Builds meaningful connections between grandparents and our school community through special events and volunteer opportunities.

 

Holiday Shop

Creates a magical experience where students can independently shop for holiday gifts for their loved ones. 

 

Kindergarten Social

Organizes our welcoming ice cream social event designed to help new kindergarten families feel at home in our school community. 

 

Raise Craze

Leads the planning and execution of our school’s major fall fundraiser.

 

Room Parent 

Serve as the key link between PTA, teachers, and room parents. 

 

Sustainability 

Leads the charge of promoting sustainability initiatives within our school community through education, awareness and activism. 

 

Staff Appreciation

Create special moments to celebrate and thank our school staff throughout the year. 

 

Twirl Your Girl 

Creates a magical evening celebrating the special bond between daughters and their grown-ups at our annual dance. 

 

Volunteer Coordinator 

Manages our school's volunteer program by connecting our parent and grandparent community with events and activities that need support.
